The second day at the GJG Evolve Spanish Junior Championship was played in warm but windy conditions which provided quite a challenge, however a number of players were able to make up some ground during the day as the scoring fluctuated.
Positions after the second round are in the boys section with a commanding lead -6 Daniel Svard (Sweden) plus 1 David Mlynek (Czeck Rep) and plus 2 Gail Hoffman (Switzerland) and Maxim Danilin (Russia) in the girls section also with a commanding lead and fresh from her recent Junior Solheim Cup Performance -3 Pia Babnik (Slovenia) plus 5 Natalia Anglada Herrera (Spain) and plus 10 Anna Quinoa Ymbern (Spain).
With good weather forecast for tomorrow the last round of the 6th edition of the Evolve Spanish Junior Championship promises to be an exciting day for everyone involved in the event.
We have our annual gala dinner with award presentation in the Bonmont ballroom in the evening after the final round which is always a very nice finish to the tournament.
