INITIATIVES – Building the Future of Junior Golf. Made by Global Junior Golf.
The Initiatives section represents the heart of Global Junior Golf’s long-term vision. While our tournaments remain a key pillar, these Initiatives go beyond competition. They are designed to support players, coaches, families, and federations with structured programs that foster development, education, access, and opportunity at every stage of the junior golf journey.
Our initiatives focus on creating strong pathways, meaningful connections, and sustainable growth within junior golf. Each program is built to address specific needs within the ecosystem – from talent identification and education to team development and international exposure.
- The >> Coaches Advisory Circle brings experienced coaches together to actively shape GJG programs, standards, and future directions. By involving coaches in decision-making processes, we ensure that our initiatives remain relevant, practical, and aligned with real player development needs.
- Our >> Webinars provide education and transparency for players, parents, and coaches. Topics range from tournament preparation and mental performance to college golf pathways and long-term athlete development. Together, these initiatives reflect GJG’s commitment to building more than events – we are building a connected, informed, and future-oriented junior golf community.
- Through the >> Local Wildcard Program, GJG provides emerging talents with opportunities to access international-level tournaments they might otherwise not reach. This initiative supports local players, strengthens regional development, and promotes inclusivity within global competition structures.
- The >> Talents Program focuses on identifying and supporting players with exceptional potential. It offers structured exposure, evaluation opportunities, and guidance, helping talents take the next step toward elite junior, collegiate, or professional golf pathways.
- Finally, our >> Teams & Camps, we create environments where players, coaches, academies, and federations can combine training, competition, and team-building. These programs allow for customized camp structures around tournaments, fostering collaboration and long-term development.
